Absalom Station
We start off with Crimson giving us all a rundown of the different classes of Starfinder since this appears to be the first game of the system for everyone.
[Warning: Spoilers below!]
300 years before present day Starfinder is The GAP. A period of time where all knowledge was lost. DUring that time, the planet of Galerian has gone missing, and in its place stands a massive spacestation called Absalom Station. The bottom spire of this massive space station holds the Starfinder Society.
We are all residents of Absalom Station and members of the Starfinder Society. The Starfinder Society is an organization around exploration and study, not some corporation out to collect or a govenment to control, but a group to gather information. And they pay well. All supporting roles are neccesary and required in the Starfinder Society.
Our adventure begins after we each receive a comm message from a Captain Arvin, who is a relatively high ranking official at the Starfinder Society. It weas a rather urgent summons, so after making our way to the Lorespire complex and making our way to the Captain’s office we meet a rather tall Lashunta man who gestures us to seats.
Captain Arvin tells us that several months ago that a crew took the Unbounded Wayfairer into The Vast to explorer uncharted planets. A few days ago a Vesk pawnbroker named Julzakama who tried to sell us several Starfinder insignias from the Unbounded Wayfairer crew. We are hoping to locate the original seller so we can locate the Unbounded Wayfairer and its crew. Captain Arvin has already paid the pawnbroker but needs us to retrieve them and question him before the trail goes cold.
We have heard of Julzakama, who is a bit of a brute, has a pawnship in the Downlow area of Absalom Station. We believe that while he won’t be bluffed, he could be intimidated. We heard to his pawnship next, and travel through the station, through the Downlow area, to his pawnshop. We enter the shop and see Julzakama on the other side of the counter.
Navasi approaches the Vesk and asks for the Starfinder insignias, and he hands them over. Navasi follows up and asks where that Julzakama had obtained them from and then convinces the pawnbroker to give it to us for half off after convincing him that the information should have been part of the initial payment for the Starfinder insignias. Iseph agrees to pay the bribe and Julzakama said () sold them and then asked where to buy clean skeletons and he pointed them to the Vatgarden. They appeared to be an Eoxian.
Raia recognized the name of the Vargarden and tells the rest of the group about it and that it is run by the Eoxians. We proceed to head to the Vatgarden where the group fans out and we begin to search the park. As we search, Obozaya begins to enter a () we heard a deep voice demanding “Leave us be!” and Exagara and four mercenaries appear from the foliage.
The party engages the Exagara Long-Tongue and the three mercenaries with her. The group fights them and slowly takes them down one by one until Raia knocks the Exegara Long-Touch unconcious and kills the mercenary other.
We search Exagara and find a 250 credit stick and a datapad. Raia cracks the datapad and discovers she is from a ship called the Endless Serenity, a corpsefleet ship, and notes its location. The datapad states the ship is damaged and stuck in The Drift. It also says they picked up a distress signal from a Starfinder vessel and that the Endless Serenity was damaged by a ship called “The Lawblight”.
We bind and wake Exagara and we begin to question her. She says that she got the insignias from the dead crewmen on the Starfinder ship. She claims they were found crashed on a desert planet with everyone dead. Raia attemts to read her surface thoughts but is only able to tell that they are hiding things. Obozaya attemps to intimidate Exagara into telling us everything but fails.
