The Scenario
We begin in a tavern in the sleepy Nirmathi town of Phaendar, nestled alongside the only major crossing of the Marideth River within 50 miles upstream or down, called the Taproot Inn. A cook named Jun’let begins making their rounds taking orders of food and drink. As she goes around taking orders, the front door is kicked in by a pair of hobgoblins. The party rallies to defend the Taproot Inn. After a quick battle where Ceej briefly falls unconscious to the hobgoblins blades, the others manage to kill the three hobgoblins.
After the battle the party looks out the front door only to witness what appears to be a large black tower in the center of town where hobgoblins are pouring out of. Aubrin suggests we grab supplies from the local stores and rescue as many local townspeople as possible.

Ironfang Invasion Session 2: Townies
The Ironfang Legion has somehow deposited a tower full of hobgoblins into the middle of Phaendar and are systematically taking over the town. The PCs must now somehow flee with as many refugees (and provisions to support them) as possible, and destroy the bridge over the Maredith river to cover their escape into the Fangwood forest.
